Company Secretary/Clerk to The Thames Learning Trust

Hours: Term Time Only - Based on an average of 6 hours per week, however hours will be worked in conjunction with the Trust meeting schedule. Around 20 meetings per term. Administration Time factored in accordingly.

Grade: RG5 22 – 28

Salary: £16.26 - £19.00 per hour

Start Date: November 2024

We are looking for an experienced Company Secretary/Clerk to join the Thames Learning Trust.

The Company Secretary will support effective governance for the Board of Trustees by coordinating work across the Trust; ensuring compliance is adhered to in line with the regulations.

The Clerking duties will be recording all attendance and minutes of all Trust meetings, sending out papers in a timely manner ahead of any meetings.

You will have proven experience in committee procedures ideally in a School/Academy and be able to demonstrate good communication skills both written and verbal, proven organisational skills with good attention to detail. This position requires excellent IT skills, understanding of confidentiality and flexibility.

Majority of the meetings will take place during the day via TEAMS.
